Adding and Subtracting Fractions Task Cards
Why do I love these? These task cards are all word problems! It can be so tricky to find good word problems for fraction skills, but this set has 20 of them. If that is not enough to convince you, just take a look at two of the cards in the preview. You will notice that they also have correct fraction notation like what your students will see on state tests or when they write them. The set also has a recording sheet and a game option to make practice more engaging for your students. These cards are designed to be right on target for 5th graders, but can also be used for older students who need to review. Adding and Subtracting with Models Interactive Notebook Set
Need more modeling practice for your math classroom? Of course! This huge set of notebook material is actually a mini-book guiding students through the process of using various types of model to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators. This set covers area models, set models, number lines, and strip/tape diagrams. It also has practice activities and a 5-question quiz!
